Internship Program
Our Summer Internship Program has 3 projects on offer, commencing in late November. LifeHealthcare’s internship positions are unpaidand offer challenging projects with high impact. We are looking for driven problem solvers with an eye for detail and an entrepreneurial spirit. Interns will be assigned a supervisor who will help identify project goals, inspire, mentor and support their professional development.
The Projects
Healthcare Connect
This project involves gaining an understanding of the IT based products and services each business division within LifeHealthcare currently supplies and gaining an understanding of the value such technology offers LifeHealthcare’s customers. In conjunction with this, an external review of what other technologies are available which would complement the business’s current product portfolio is to be carried out. As a final piece, a business case will be presented providing recommendations around how to best support the sales and service delivery of such products. This will take into account LHC’s current organisational architecture, systems and culture as well as LHC’s vision for the future.

Patient Specific Implant Marketing Strategy
This project will focus on LifeHealthcare’s patient specific implant 3D printing products to assess what is the most effective and commercially viable method of communicating these products to surgeons.

Healthcare Funding and Policy
This project will involve mapping out government healthcare policy and funding mechanisms in Australia as well as mapping the areas of healthcare where privately funded money, such as private equity, is being directed. This internship will play a vital role in undertaking healthcare funding and policy research and presenting findings and recommendations.
