Vivid Sydney, now in its eighth year, is Australia's major event in winter and is recognised

as the largest event of its kind in the world combining light, music and ideas.

From May 27 to June 18, 2016, the event will feature an outdoor ‘gallery’ of

extraordinary lighting sculptures, a cutting-edge contemporary music program, some of

the world’s most important creative industry forums and the spectacular illumination of the Sydney Opera House sails.

Over 1000 volunteers are needed this year with position descriptions available to download via the following link:

Week 3 of Accomplish Workshops Finished!!

Punctuality:

We ask you to please arrive 5 minutes before the workshop is due to start. If you need to leave early please notify us by email before the session starts or speak with us on arrival. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the workshop has started you will not be allowed to attend. As the purpose of the Accomplish Award is to prepare you for the working world, we expect a level of professionalism with regards to attendance and punctuality.

Being late will not be acceptable in the workplace, and it is not acceptable for this Program either.

All slides and handouts from the Resume and Cover Letter and Marketing yourself to Employers Workshops have now been uploaded on to career hub and can be accessed through the 'resources' tab.

Submit Resume Review:

Submit your Resume only, via CareerHub for feedback by 20 May. Personalised feedback to your email address by 30 June. This is a compulsory component of the Accomplish Award! If you want your resume reviewed more than once please avail of the drop in service in the careers centre. 

After the Welcome Sessions

Welcome session
By now, you should have attended one of the Welcome sessions and picked up your CareerHub Manual and FAQ document.If, for whatever reason, you have not attended a Welcome session, please email us as soon as possible, so we can advise you of your options.

Slides and handouts
The slides from the Welcome session and the handouts provided are now uploaded and can be accessed by clicking on the ‘Resources’ tab.

Workshops
You should now have booked yourself in for the 4 Semester 1 Workshops.If you haven’t, please choose and register for one session time for each of the 4 workshops.
Please remember to be courteous of others and cancel your booked workshop if you are no longer able to attend.This will ensure your spot is freed up for someone else to take.

Punctuality
Please ensure you arrive in good time for each workshop.Remember, if you arrive more than 15 minutes after the workshop time, you will not be permitted to stay for the workshop.Start practising the skill of punctuality now! Being late will not be acceptable in the workplace, and it is not acceptable for this Program either.
