Perfect Match - Volunteer Speed Networking Event

Published 18 Apr 2017, 1:37 pm, by Kate Smith

Students can come along and find great volunteer opportunities with the UTS Not-for-Profit (NFP) Alumni Network.

UTS invites you to a speed networking session with UTS Alumni now working in non-profit organisations who need your help to further their social and community causes - so you can find your perfect match to volunteer your skills and make a difference!

At the event, you’ll meet organisations working to address a wide range of issues - from community arts and mentoring, to mental health and young people.

Perfect Match is a speed networking event that connects students with community organisations working in the suburbs and communities around UTS. We’ll be hosting, so there will be limited awkward silences - you’ll be speed dating around the room, hearing pitches, asking questions, and getting inspired about the volunteering opportunities around you. At the end of the event, you might even find your perfect match!

So whether you're a seasoned volunteer or just starting out, come along and find a volunteer opportunity close to uni, and get UTS more engaged in its local community.

Perfect Match is free - but you¹ll need to register on CareerHub before the event!

Perfect Match is a joint event run by UTS Business School, UTS SOUL Award and UTS Careers as part of National Volunteer Week.

Please note this is not exclusive for Accomplish students and not apart of the Accomplish Award however may be beneficial in finding out about a volunteer opportunity that may be added to your employment hours.
